Home Theaters
There's nothing quite so good at announcing you've "made it" as when you are able to build a
home theater in your house. Once only the ability of the rich and dreams of the middle class, it is not very common for people to have their own
home theater setup which can rival some of the best regular theaters on the market.
Flat screen TVs, plasma TVs, surround sound, sound proofing, and all the extra gadgets and gizmos only serve as accessories to the larger
experience of watching a movie or event on your own terms, with your own pause button and your own food (for a fraction of the cost).
We bought our house entirely because it had a room perfectly suited for a new home theater. We built it from the studs up, and made it into
our dream vacation that can be taken everyday. We bought a huge wide screen TV, didn't put in any windows, and made it pitch black and nearly
soundproof to provide the ultimate viewing environment.
If you're looking to journey into the world of home theater entertainment we highly recommend it, but suggest not going into it lightly.
Building it right can cost a fortune unless you can most of the work yourself. The good news is the technology is coming down in price and the
possibilities are nearly endless.

We look forward to hearing about it in the future.
